Bosses

Bosses are large dangerous enemies, who has different AI and gives player a challenge. Defeating bosses always grants rewards that help progressing the game. In version 1.3 there are 17 new bosses. Players need require an item to summon them from any specific Biome from night to day.

Each Bosses has their own Treasure Bag which contains unique items of an Expert Exclusive items in additional normal items. However, many bosses have own AI and can be challenging of players if they have a reap the rewards.

Pre-Hardmode Bosses

Evil Corn

Flies after the player, damages him with rotating leaves. Protects itself by hiding in its leaves, then jumps underground and appears under the player. Drops popcorn which restores 1 health when hit.

Can be summoned using Cursed Popcorn File:CursedPopcorn.png.

The Rukh

Flies around the screen. Shoots feathers and spawns from 1 to 5 vultures.

Tiki Totem

Walks on the ground. Spawns Tiki Warriors and Sorcerers. Shoots Lihzahrds who transforms to mobs when hit ground or player. Spawns 3 Souls when defeated.

Can be summoned using Mysterious Drum .

Ancient Dragon

Behaves like the Eater of Worlds. Burrows through the ground at high speeds and petrifies the player. When has less than 50% of health left each piece of body can break and release a Mini Dragon.

Can be summoned using a Rusty Lantern on a Ruins Altar .

Storm Jellyfish

Flies around the screen. Shoots electric bolts that inflict Electrified debuff on player.

Fungus Beetle

Flies around the screen. Summons beetles that make it invulnerable and releases spores.

Can be summoned using Mushroom Crystal .

Heater of Worlds

Worm-like boss. Charges player with it's head. Shoots flaming bolts from every part, bolts can burn player. In Expert Mode boss also inflicts On Fire! when hits player.

Hardmode Bosses

Alchemaster

Floats in the air. Shoots alchemical weapons at you.

Can be summoned using Ancient Mosaic .

Motherboard

Alternative of Destroyer in The Crimson. Shoots out laser beams. Summons drones to fight. Teleports like the Brain of Cthulhu.

Pixie Queen

Flies around. Shoots out beams on a sky. Summons pixies minions to fight. Spins around and around.

Can be summoned using Pixie in a Jar .

Frost King

Floats around. Shoots Ice things at you. Inflicts Chilled debuff.

Can be summoned with Frost Crown .

Wall of Shadows

Acts like Wall of Flesh. Spawns with Shadow Hands which try to attack the player. Shoots purple lasers from the Eye, can shoot a barrage of lasers. In second form can spawn Shadow Steeds, shoots Shadowbeams and shoots faster when has low health. Can be only damaged by damaging the Eye/Mouth.
