The Chef is an NPC vendor that will spawn once the following conditions have been met:
- There is an empty house.
- Eater of Worlds/Brain of Cthulhu has been defeated.
If the Chef is killed, he will only respawn if the above conditions are met again. He uses Carrot to defend himself.

- If the player has Thorium Mod installed, he could easily confuse the Chef with the Cook, due to their similar look.
- However, the Cook is the only one with the beard
- The name "Guy" is a reference to Guy Fieri, a real-life chef
